good-omen
Good Omen

"Good Omen" bison sculpted from marble collected in Marble, Colorado. The same vein of marble was used in the Lincoln Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The base is ancient bristlecone pine collected west of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The wood is from an old tree stump from a tree cut down in the 1880s for mining operations. The bison horn is carved from a shed mule deer antler that I collected on my property in Colorado. The bison etching on the back of the art was my guide for the marble carving.
