Holly Carlile is an Oklahoma-born artist. Carlile’s interest in art began at age eight when she became fascinated by ancient Egypt. While her enchantment with Egypt has never wavered, she now illustrates animals and nature. One of her favorite subjects is her late lop-eared rabbit, Okayama. She works primarily in watercolor but occasionally dabbles in acrylic. When she's not painting, she's making beadwork: from bracelets to necklaces and keychains.
