Justyne Eden is a Cherokee artist from Dewey, Oklahoma, who is now based in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. A proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Eden creates contemporary artwork that blends humor, storytelling and Cherokee culture with modern design. Working primarily through digital illustration and handcrafted processes, her work explores new ways to celebrate Cherokee identity while honoring the traditions that inspire it.

Influenced by Southeastern design and everyday moments that spark curiosity or laughter, she creates art that is both meaningful and approachable. Her goal is to fill a gap in contemporary Native art by offering fresh perspectives that encourage conversations about language, history and culture through creativity.

Although largely self-taught as an artist and maker, she has been fortunate to learn from Cherokee National Treasures Dan Mink and Demos Glass. Through every piece she creates, Eden hopes to inspire connection, celebrate Cherokee culture and remind viewers that tradition and innovation can exist beautifully side by side.
