I have always been drawing since I was a young boy, and I am completely self-taught. With lots of trial and error and lots of encouragement from family and friends, I started entering art shows in 1989, praying I would be juried into one.

I was obsessed with art, so I made the decision to work full time on painting and quit my job.

God blessed me with a baby girl late in life, so after 10 years of creating art, I went back to work to provide for my daughter. After 18 years, I returned to art in 2023. Art lives inside you and never goes away.

I have been blessed to receive 53 awards from Oklahoma and other states in my years doing what I love. I am truly blessed to be back, creating art.
